Hello, Modifox Gang 🦊

First off, I apologise for not checking in on you last week.

I was gone into the orbit of launch marketing. 👨🏻‍🚀

So while I jumped off the planet, Tobi gave an insight into our soles and footbed.

But that was last week. What’s today?

Today is special, because I officially kickstart our Launch Letter #1.

Flamboyant name. What’s behind?

The past months have been wild. Because that’s how startups are.

No more! Every week from now, there is a clear focus leading up to #launchwithabang.

And that’s what these letters will be about.

The first big bang 💣

Right now, we are still in Pre Launch Phase. For 20 days and 20 hours.

At this stage, many Kickstarter projects push for big headlines.

Headlines in the world’s biggest news sites like Forbes. 🗞

We want that too. So we contact as much press as humanly possible.

How I reach 100 News Outlets in 2 days

I know that my startup has seen some crazy moments. Good ones and bad ones.

We raised public funds for our vision. We were denied the funds. 💰

We were invited to ,DHDL’. But we turned them down. 🎙

We suffered under immigration policies. Then, we got our very own law! 🇩🇪

I challenged my memory and wrote all of these stories down.

Then I reached out to one of my favorite people to work with - Kei. 💁🏻‍♂️

Funny enough, he invented Modifox. Well, at least the name.

He is a wizzard of words. And if anyone knows how to convince press, it’s him.

So for 2 days we researched the Top 100 News Outlets in Europe.

Not only that. We researched their interests, the reporters that write for them, and the reporters interests. 🔍

We know, that they would only write about us if their readers care to read it.

But since we know what they like, we can craft unique stories that match.

Final step? Today, I met Tobi to shoot press photos. What ya think?

Now I reach out to 50 of these news outlets every day for 2 days.

In marketing speak I aim for a conversion rate of 5%.

That means, if 5 of 100 journalists respond, it’s all worth it. 🔥

Tuesday, we shoot all of our Kickstarter content. Including the video!

That’s probably the day I’m most fearful and excited about.
