On 8th November, we proved the Hybrid Sport works. Here’s what I learnt on 2,110km in a single pair 👇🏻

Extreme Test → Extreme Results

When I kicked off this project at our warehouse in Cologne Germany, we traveled light. One pair of shoes in our luggage. No plan B.

Our Idea was simple: Try getting through the challenge using one pair for 50 marathons. What could go wrong? I was stunned: after 47 days, this is how they looked.

ReSole Pitstop After 500KM

Besides the shoe we carried 5 pairs of soles - everything we could afford to produce. Before to this, we learnt that people got new sport shoes after ~500km of running.

We wanted to test, if we could just replace the worn out soles with a fresh set. So after every 500km, we pitstopped for a quick ReSole: again, we were not upset.

Broken Bones? Black Toenails?

At least 6 people asked me this. And I gotta be honest: Getting up every morning after yesterday’s beating: I felt like a drunken robot trying to … well, run a marathon.

But I figured that the body is one amazingly resistant thing: after the first 1-2km any pain and feeling of stiffness vanished. Even creazier, after 50 days, I had a total of 0 injuries.

10 Weeks For 50 Marathons

Remember the advanced hybrid training plan we offered for the Hybrid Sport VIP package? I asked myself how I could make this not be “another training plan”.

So I recreated my whole 10 week training that I did to run 50 marathons. Seriously, that’s it. And let me warn you: It’s intense - please consult a fitness trainer before trying it!

1st Hybrid Sport → Q1-2026

The moment we finished the final run, my crew and I shared our feedback from +300h of running with our factory’s development team and pushed hard for December production.

But ultimately, we had to push back to deliver a perfect shoe. Now we prepare everything to support your new year’s goals with the right gear in Q1 2026.

Our Little Christmas Present

I know you wanted the Hybrid Sport before Christmas. So we worked on something to save your hopes for a Christmas present that would arrive on time.

(Re-) Introducing: The Victorian Kiss. Our first winter chelsea for in and around the house. This model sold out 9 months ago, but we had to bring it back for this special occasion.
